Adipromin is a patented formulation of three standardized herbal extracts: turmeric (Curcuma longa), moringa (Moringa oleifera) and curry leaf (Murraya koenigeii). It was developed through an extensive process of screening botanicals to identify maximum, safe weight loss potential. All three of these herbs have been in long use in Asian and Indian cuisines. Each is sustainably harvested, non-GMO, and traceable from the fields where they were grown, through processing, all the way to the product you receive.
Adipromin is distinguished from other weight management products by its efficacy and unique, dual mechanism of action. Fat cells (also known as adipocytes) are the major component of body fat. A fundamental process of weight gain—known as adipogenesis— involves the maturation and growth of these fat cells. Adipromin is thought to work by limiting fat cells from maturing and growing.† Preclinical research has also shown that Adipromin works by increasing the breakdown of fat in mature fat cells, a process known as lipolysis.†*
Adipromin is not a stimulant or appetite suppressant. It works by supporting the body’s inherent processes to help manage weight.
The safety and efficacy of Adipromin have been demonstrated in two gold-standard, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials.1,2 To validate weight management claims, health professionals and regulatory agencies alike prefer to see at least two clinical trials published in the peer-reviewed medical literature.
The most recent Adipromin study was a randomized controlled clinical trial involving 140 healthy overweight women and men. It compared the use of Adipromin in conjunction with an 1800-calorie diet and walking plan to a placebo with the same diet and walking plan. Those taking Adipromin lost almost 10 more pounds compared to those taking placebo (-11.82 pounds vs. -1.92 pounds); they lost over an inch more around the hips (-1.77 inches vs. -0.47 inches) and over an inch more around the waist (-2.12 inches vs. -0.67 inches) than the placebo group, after 16 weeks.^*
Most weight management studies focus on women. This study included both women and men. Other results from the study give health professionals confidence in the positive results. Adipromin supplementation supported healthy blood lipids, such as cholesterol and triglycerides.^*
